CC (Cecilia) used to shop at numerous boutiques chalking up significant sum of expenses on apparels alone. After being crowned Mrs Noble Queen Singapore in 2017 she is very certain that first impression is very important and the first impact to strike through a person’s mind will be apparels. Every lady deserves to dress up well and dress up in the right fashion. However with her current spending habits on apparels she clearly knows that not every lady can follow suit. She sets a vision for herself - To make quality premium lady apparels affordable for women from all walks of life.
Having been in retail of mobile phone accessories business trade for 14 years then, she is fully aware that overhead costs especially rental and staff wages are the key factors influencing the price point of products. At that time Facebook Live streaming has become a growing trend in the market. CC was taking up the job of being a Facebook Live broadcaster promoting the sales of luxurious branded bags. With no rental required for such operation, CC drew closer to her vision.
Being a typical Aries Woman, fiery, energetic, independent and intelligent, she started sourcing around for quality premium ladies apparels and in a short time she has prepared a range of apparels to showcase. In July 2018 she started the page and her maiden apparel Live stream. She is very blessed and with her strong sense of style, the response from viewers is good. However things are not as easy for her behind the scene. She has to juggle between buying and selecting stocks, preparing the measurements of the apparels to showcase, billing of customers, checking through the apparels for imperfections prior to dispatch, dispatching the parcels and also to look after her 4 years old boy. All these while her man, Ryan was far away at UK on his work venture project.
Always supportive in whatever his wife decides on, the couple took a daring decision. Ryan quit his job and came back to help CC in her new venture and vision. He quickly set up an organised system from preparing of Live sessions to taking orders during Live sessions to billing and dispatching the items to customers. Besides this he also has to handle customers enquires and aftersales service.
The start was never easy as with CC stringent selection of apparels, cost of products was relatively much higher than what all other platforms were offering but she stayed focused on her vision. She managed to convinced the pioneer batch of supporters on the quality of the apparels she is offering and that the price point she sets is not only affordable but very reasonable as compared to the same range of apparels being offered at boutiques. Her efforts paid off as satisfied customers starts to drop very heart-warming and supportive reviews on the page and through word of mouth recommendations her customer base and viewers grew.
Till today CC’s vision and Channel C’s vision remains firm and focused - to provide for all CC ladies quality premium apparels and fashion accessories at the most reasonable and affordable prices.
